Isla Canela is an incredible Spot with large lagoons that are formed thanks to the sandy bars (locally called golas). You will find two zones, one with water dish ideal for Freestyle and behind the other sand bars with waves that will allow you to practice Surf Kite.<\/p>\n

WINDS TO NAVIGATE ON ISLA CANELA<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

-West Wind<\/strong> (West – Southwest): This type of wind you will normally find in this Spot, is the safest and most constant, so it is the one we recommend to enjoy Kitesurfing to the fullest in Isla Canela.<\/p>\n

-East Wind<\/strong> (East – Southwest): This wind usually occurs only with storms in the winter season and is usually accompanied by waves.<\/p>\n

-Northwest Wind:<\/strong> We only recommend sailing with this wind within the lagoons that form at low tide.<\/p>\n

ZONES FOR KITESURF PRACTICE<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

-Winter:<\/strong> You have 7 km of beach with golden sand from Punta del Moral (East) to the mouth of the River Guadiana (West).<\/p>\n

-Verano:<\/strong> You can only navigate in the west area of the beach, (there are sanctions if you do not respect the area)<\/span> 3 Km of beach that begin in Urb. San Bruno and ends at the mouth of the Guadiana River. You will find a sign on the sand that indicates the beginning of the kitesurfing zone.<\/p>\n
